And oh the Ice.
The Christmas season is here and so is the snow and the ICE! Did you know that it can rain ice? Not just hail, but ice. On Thursday it was as if someone was dusting sugar crystals of ice all over town. Some melted, some did not. During the night the temperature plummeted and the result was a resilient, glassy coating of ice over the footpaths, road and even snow; everything was securely encased in ice. As ice means ZERO traction please explain how one is expected to get anywhere! Our schoolyard was no exception. (You will need Quicktime on your computer view this).
